I was so focused on the beautiful colors of the evening sky that I paid little attention to the zebras. Then just like that, two zebras broke out of the herd and headed straight toward me. They stop.
Everyone had gone back to the lodge, and I knew no one would see me if I talked to them. So, I said, “Guys, I guess the sunset looks great today, better than yesterday. It would look even better if you two would dance so that I could get a photo, please!!!”

The two zebras looked at me, and it was like they understood what I had said. The one on the left bites the other one’s hind leg and the dance starts as they walk away from me. The dance gets better as they walk further into the sunset. It may sound crazy, but I feel very connected to these animals after my years on game drives.
I see characters in each one and often find myself giving them names. Anyway, that is just me!
