The best part about this lodge is the setting… you’re right there surrounded by the savannah. The main lodge/ dining area is open, relaxing, and the food is delicious. We watched colorful parrots and other small birds splash in the birdbath outside the dining room at breakfast, and genet cats crawl onto the ceiling beams after dinner. In the evening, we sat around the campfire, with guards not far away and always on the lookout so that we felt safe, especially with the groans off in the distance! So exciting!! The cottage rooms are comfortable and adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.
