This was our fifth trip to Kenya, but our first to the Serena on Lake Elementaita. When you enter into reception for the first time that initial view of the lake and its flamingos is breath taking.

The tented accommodation is first class, more like a marquee, well furnished and well equipped and very spacious. The service and food is up to the usual Serena standard of excellent.

If you would like to drop off to sleep with the gentle calls of flaming in the background this is exactly the place to go.
