This tented luxury accommodation is way into the Serengeti as measured from Arusha. The reception and lobby tent is large, comfortable and beautifully done up. First impression was ‘Wow’. As with other Serena properties we experienced competent, friendly, warm staff. The individual tents are sitting on wooden platforms on a hillside and each include a veranda with a view. They are well furnished and each has a private bathroom. Dinner and breakfast are served in a separate dining tent. Dinner was served by formally dressed waiters. Food was excellent in quality and choices as was the breakfast. With all that service one could forget why one is here but the animals will remind one. Getting up in the morning there was suddenly much commotion above my tent. A group of monkeys it turned out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kirawira – Thank You.
