By accepting these
General Terms and Conditions, the traveler agrees to a binding travel contract with Kalama Wildlife & Photograph Safaris (hereinafter KWPS). A booking can be made online at
www.kalamasafaris.com or through e-mail at
david@kalamasafaris.com. An electronic receipt from KWPS confirms the booking.
Travelers requiring special assistance
Travelers requiring special assistance, including but not limited to those who periodically or permanently use a wheelchair, must be accompanied by someone who is fit and able to assist them, and who will be totally responsible for providing all required assistance.
Payment
When these terms and conditions for the booking are accepted, a 10% deposit is due and payable within 7 days. The balance is due 90 days prior to the start date. All prices are quoted in USD.
Changes
The travel contract agreed upon is based on the KWPS itinerary posted on
www.kalamasafaris.com. KWPS reserves the right to make any necessary changes due to safety and availability of accommodations. If changes or deviations are necessary, KWPS, in good faith, will make comparable arrangements at no additional cost to the traveler. KWPS will notify the traveler immediately about any changes or deviations in itinerary. Changes requested by the traveler while on tour that deviates from the itinerary will be subject to an additional charge.
Cancellation by the traveler, cancellation fees, rebooking
The traveler may withdraw from the trip in writing at any time prior to departure. If the traveler withdraws from the travel contract or does not start the journey, the following
fee and refund policy applies to the travel contract cancellation. The refund may be applied to future booking with KWPS.
- Cancellation 90 or more days before start date (100% refund of price less a $300 adminstrative fee per person)
- Cancellation 89-60 days before start date (75% refund of price less a $300 adminstrative fee per person)
- Cancellation 59-30 days before start date (35% refund of price less a $300 adminstrative fee per person)
- Cancellation 29-0 days before start date (0% refund of price per person)

Travelers agree to hold KWPS harmless for any liability issues.

Unused services
If the traveler does not use individual travel services as a result of a premature return or for other compelling reasons, KWPS will endeavor to be reimbursed by the service providers for the saved expenses. This obligation does not apply if the services are completely insignificant or if a refund conflicts with legal or regulatory requirements.
Termination by KWPS
KWPS may terminate the travel contract after commencement of the journey (immediately at the traveler’s expense) if the traveler fails to follow safety procedures or continues to disturb the conduct of the journey (despite a warning from KWPS).
