Plan Your Safari
Kalama Safaris offers tailor-made and scheduled tours for groups, couples, singles, families, honeymooners, and photographers only group (on request).
ALL tours HIGHLIGHT animals such as the “Big Five,” elephants, giraffes, big cats, wildebeests (migration), and birds. Destinations are selected where the highlighted animals are in abundance.
Although tours focus on a specific animal, & MORE indicates that each safari includes sightings of the animals visitors expect to see on safari such as cats, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, zebra, the “Big Five,” birds, and more.
Below you will find tours for 1 Week (7-8 days) and 2 Weeks (14 days) in Kenya and/or Tanzania, as well as an 11 day Rwanda tours including gorilla, chimpanzee, and golden monkey trekking. These tours may be combined with other tours.
There is also a 4 Day Gorilla Trekking tour that can be added at the end of any tour.
The $1,500 gorilla trekking permit is included in the price.

Traveled the world and never have we ever had a better director or guide. Because of David Kalama we have been going (to East Africa) for seven years. The first trip we were hooked not only do we love Kenya and Tanzania and the parks but without David as our leader we would not continue to, he is what makes the whole trip successful. His personality, knowledge and knowing where the wildlife are cannot be beat. We stay at the nicest and safest camps and the staff becomes family.
